South Carolina Warrant Records South Carolina Warrant Records

South Carolina warrant information is divided among the courts that issue process and the sheriffs, municipal police, and other officers who may serve it. Public case tools can help identify a court, but the state has no comprehensive public warrant lookup, and SLED CATCH is a criminal-history service that excludes wanted-person information. We built this reference to explain those limits and route readers toward the correct court, serving agency, and county resources. A case result or an empty search is only a lead; the issuing court and responsible law-enforcement office provide the current case-specific answer.

Why We Built This Site

South Carolina does not offer one public database that comprehensively confirms active warrants. The Trial Court Public Index provides case information for participating courts, while SLED CATCH reports criminal-history information and specifically excludes wanted-person data. Restricted systems such as CJIS, SCIEx, and NCIC are for authorized justice users. The issuing court maintains the case file; a sheriff or municipal police department may hold service information. That division matters for a missed hearing, a city ordinance case, or a search with no result. This hub explains the public tools' limits and links to county routes so readers can identify the likely court and serving agency. The answer about a particular warrant must come from the offices responsible for that case.

What You Will Find Here

What We Cannot Do

This is an independent reference service, not a South Carolina court, sheriff's office, law-enforcement agency, or state portal. Its limits include:

  • We cannot run an official warrant check or confirm whether a warrant exists for anyone
  • We cannot remove, recall, quash, or clear a warrant on any system
  • We cannot post bond or accept any kind of payment toward a warrant
  • We cannot arrange a surrender, a court date, or a warrant walk-through
  • We cannot give legal advice or tell you how a specific warrant applies to you
  • We cannot guarantee that local procedures, fees, or linked case information are current at the moment you use them

The issuing court and the agency responsible for service are the sources for a current case-specific status. Public case portals and county pages can help locate those offices, but a blank result does not establish that no warrant exists.

Search Partners

Some search boxes are operated by outside providers under their own pricing, data, and service terms. We may receive a referral fee when a visitor chooses a paid partner service. We do not control those results, and a partner search is not an official South Carolina warrant-status check.
